I've always been able to flip a NO into a YES even if it meant going in a different direction to meet my ultimate goal. I wanted to be successful. One of the most pivotal points in my life is when I was 14 and my basketball coach told me I'd never be a pro basketball player. The next day I went out and bought some candy and sold it at school. I may not be a basketball player but I am a businessman.
I know how to sell the dream, I know how to build the dream, and I've always shown others how to obtain their dreams. I pride myself on being the information hub for those willing to get out and do what it takes to get what they want. Over the years my career in music and passion for developing artists and producing hit records led me to create a site for artists to find their sound. Since my company's establishment in 2005, RAYDAR has been responsible for some of the industry’s biggest chart-topping hits for artists such as Lizzo, Beyonce, Doja Cat, Saweetie, Ciara, Rihanna, Usher, Future, Miley Cyrus, Adam Levine, and many more.
I've been an A&R, a music executive, a CEO, a father, a leader and at most times these roles merge, that's why I call myself a Creative Coach. This role gives me the opportunity to show creatives how to leverage their influence and find their communities. I'm in the business of pushing people towards finding their "Why".
